Fabulous hotel

Excellent place to stay. Smack in the middle of everything. The hotel is very well kept, super clean, the beach is right downstairs. Restaurants, bars, supermarket all very close. Very nice staff. I have been coming here for 22 years.

March Stay.

Hotel is centrally located.Great proximity to the main road to catch the local bus. The staff is outstanding and the hotel rooms are really nice. The air condition was really cold, had to turn it up a few times. Can't wait to return for my next vacation.

Arium Beach Resort St. Maarten

Friendly staff with welcoming smiles. It seems there were a lot of guests that return each year at the same time which made for a relaxed environment. The condo had all the necessary comforts and the two balconies provided outstanding vistas of the inner harbour. Surprisingly there wasn't much noise despite being so close to the main road. Great beach and Blackbeard Burgers at the Buccaneer Beach Bar. I would recommend a car rental to have the convenience of travelling to other beaches like Mullet for the waves or Friar's for the cafe's music and interesting menu.

Great Location

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room balcony faced the pool and beach. Request sixth floor or higher and a room ending 1,2,3 or 4 for the best views. The pool area is small, and a little disappointing, but the beach is large. Umbrellas, tables and padded loungers are free for hotel guests on the beach. The beach is great for sunbathing or swimming. Nothing but soft sand on the beach and in the water. There is a restaurant in the pool area. Great food. Bang bang sliders and chicken strips were our favorites. There were a few issues with our restaurant bill on one occasion, more a matter of poor customer service. The only negative to the resort location is the noise factor. Barking dogs, crowing roosters, semi trucks using compression brakes, honking horns, and loud motorcycles can be heard from 7am until 10pm. There is little "supermarket" next to the Burger King a few minutes walk from the resort. The day we arrived there was a ray cruising along the beach. Very cool. We would definetly stay here again.

A gem in the Dutch West Indies!

Ive visited 12 islands in my life and this particular resort and island were a pleasant surprise. Im in a battle against stage 4 brain, lung, node, and gland cancer and and this trip was a surprise. Holy cow was the staff nice to me. Front desk, maintenance, asst. manager etc and of course the super star beach cabana guy MIKE went the extra mile for me. I was able to watch DVD's at night and relax on my balcony. It was a bit scary going at first packing and travel and all. I felt the best I felt in years 80% of the time and I contribute part of this to my trip and this resort. I enjoyed a swim in the pool, and it was nice having a grocery store so close. The restaurant next door has two prime rib nights and my meals were amazing. across from the French pastry shop is a stand that sells barbecue chicken to the locals and it was some of my best meals. I had a gigantic live lobster two doors down from the chicken place. my friend took me to an amazing dutch beach and a french beach where Donald Trump owns a house. St Maarten has so many Exotic beaches ! one day I went shopping in the french village and then later i went to phillipsburg. no cruise ship so it was amazing. On this trip i tried the local bus service back to the hotel and it cost 1.50 and I walked up to the bus stop the exact moment the bus arrived with an ice cold perrier in my hand. I found some cool snorkeling places and took a speed boat ride /snorkel trip off the dock right next to the hotel. Mike on the beach introduced me to Chris who works at the paddle boat snorkel tour area right on our beach. I have to say my trip, and the outstanding kindness of the staff rejuvenated my ongoing cancer battle. I feel I'm winning that battle and seeing such human compassion to introduce me to the Atrium is indeed an inspirational story! I want to send a shout out to Allison at the front desk! Allison has a lovely disposition and I think she deserves a raise! Thank You Atrium for making my dream come true!
