About 60 of us stayed overnight here when our AC flight had to stay an extra overnight, due to delays. The staff were welcoming and very helpful at 1130 at night and arranged supper for folks who wanted to head to the restaurant in Maho. Breakfast was served in the morning around the beautiful pool and it was delicious.....even saw a few iguana's around the pool! The one bedroom unit was very spacious and well laid out and seemed pretty up to date. It had all the amenities of home and a view of the lagoon. Would definitely stay here again.
This trip was an eye opening and life changing experience of a life time. The quality of people are first class and the information they shared was most valuable. Thanks for the clearity and courage to take the next step. Thanks to bobby boots and his wife for making me feel so welcome and sharing the cleaniest funny jokes i heard in a long time and their friend michael with the bash hilliary teeshirts. and a special thanks to lessie and mona from canada who introduced me to the world of expensive art and knowledge of power. My life has changed for the better and i will play it forward. Much love and respect to all
We just returned from vacation this place is in need of a make over, we use our RCI time share they list it as gold crown resort. I don't know who rated this place but they are way off. We enter the room and the smell is awful we call down they bring up a bottle of febreeze sprayed and then leave the bottle we had to use it everyday and open the door I could go on and on. Just look for something else
I stayed one night in the hotel. As a crew member just signed off from the cruise ship and was waiting for my flight. The hotel is close to the airport and .... famous Maho Beach, you can literally walk there, would be around 15 minutes. The place itself is very quite, if you like to escape from the crowd, shopping area and all of this thing which is always around - this is it. And rooms are pretty big - studio with your own kitchen of you need, gym, pool area. Everything you need)
Off the ocean is the Towers. It is a nice facility, but certainly dated. It lacks a store or a real restaurant, but the staff is very nice and you can get a burger or a hot dog at the bar. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is clean and refreshing. Views of the back bay are peaceful, and it is a short walk to the beach at Mullet Bay, or even to Maho if you want to stretch your legs. Recent improvements have the road along the gold course lighted at night, but I would not suggest you walking afetr dark, for safety concerns. The resort has excellent security and staff always on duty. Wireless was good and fair priced, and the only issue during my stay that was bothersome, was the elevators. One was broken the whole week and the other was quirky and unreliable. That was sad they couldn't get them repaired in a week.
