This is a great property and the units are spacious so you feel like you are at your home by the sea. We had one of the townhomes that face oyster pond. I would prefer to have had ocean facing but there were none available at short notice. Pros Spacious feels like apartment Great location for peace and quiet Great restaurants steps away from unit Patio off living room and bedroom Lovely big towels Chair and umbrella service on beach included Convenience store steps away Cons No full length mirrors No table or chair in bedroom so there is nowhere to put your suitcase or just sit down Very few decorations one small picture in living room and one in bedroom No soap holder or any ledge to put your shaver in shower Wifi is pathetically slow I just used my data plan it was much faster Patio door could not be opened or closed from outside. This led to mosquitoes coming inside and waste of AC. If you want peace and quiet or a nice family vacation this is a great spot. It could be awesome if they paid attention to some of the cons. The beachfront units look awesome and have their own pool.
The villa was very large with plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. The entire facility was very clean and well maintained and the location couldn't have been better - quiet yet had several restaurants and even a small grocery store just steps away. The beach was soft, water was clear, and snorkeling just a bit offshore was great. The staff were super friendly and helped us with every request. Using the Shop n' Drop grocery service we arrived to a fully stocked fridge and jumped straight into the pool. With the ease and friendliness of taxis, we didn't rent a car and easily explored the island. Our taxi driver even brought us food from his Aunt's barbecue one afternoon.
We had a great time at Coral Beach Club!! It was our second time and will not be our last. It's a great location. There is a lot to do on the island so we rent a car for our stay, but if you wanted to just stay at complex there is plenty to do within walking distance. We dealt with Stephanie in reserving, checking in and out and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Paulette and Pandora took care of our condo and were super nice and really took care of us.
It was absolutely beautiful! Our villa was gorgeous, roomy, clean and had everything we needed. I can't wait to go back. The staff was lovely. I just wish they had more option for the shop for food. I would have loved to barbecue at the villa!
Villa Alabaster was a beautiful property, perched right on Dawn Beach with a great dipping pool view of the beach and water. Water was a little rougher than we had expected, but it's not a bay beach which would be much calmer. This unit was well stocked, beautifully appointed, the Master bedroom was nice, other 2 bedrooms were okay, but all had nice bathrooms. You can walk to several restaurants in this area for lunch or dinner, and the choices are good. However, Dawn Beach is pretty much removed from any nightlife, so if you choose participate in the nightlife near the touristy section, expect a 40 minute drive (which is a PIA). Daily maid service was not the best, as evidenced by carpet crumbs which stayed put for 3 days despite her "cleaning". A great choice, though, if you're looking for relaxing on the beach or poolside and don't care about nighttime entertainment.
